Overview/BBB review analysis
Premium Merchant Funding One, LLC · BBB record

An A+ rating. A burst of glowing reviews. I have questions.

I found the timing and repetition of favorable reviews unusually concentrated. I think their authenticity deserves closer examination. The dates below come from a review-by-review analysis of published BBB entries, not a claim that we proved any post was fake.

A reproducible pattern, not an accusation of proved misconduct

Twelve favorable reviews on a single day.

In the retained date-by-date analysis of 50 BBB review entries, the following concentration stood out. It is the timing—not just my reaction—that deserves attention.

When those positive comments appeared

Counts reproduced from the retained BBB review timeline. This chart shows selected months with review concentrations, not all months or all historical reviews. The 19-entry cluster spans the end of February and March 1.

What troubles me

I find a wave of uniformly enthusiastic comments arriving close together difficult to reconcile with the negative experiences other people have described. Some of the favorable comments read to me like generalized endorsements, without much independently checkable detail.

That raises a reasonable question in my mind: was there an organized effort to encourage a burst of positive reviews, and were all those reviews based on actual customer experiences? I would like the BBB to check the authenticity and provenance of that cluster.

I do not know the answer. A promotion, legitimate request for feedback, or chance timing might also explain a cluster. No evidence presently establishes that PMFUS or any specific person manufactured reviews or manipulated BBB results.

February 22, 2024

A cluster of positive reviews

The retained analysis identified 12 favorable review entries with this same date. BBB's archived/paginated review pages display multiple enthusiastic comments that day, followed by responses from the business.

February 23–March 1, 2024

Seven more favorable entries

Seven additional favorable reviews were dated within the following eight days. This brought the nine-day cluster to 19 entries.

May and July 2024

Other favorable groupings

Four favorable entries were dated in May and seven in July. That yields 30 favorable entries across the three periods selected for closer analysis.

My experience and the wider public record

Repeated-contact complaints are part of the record too.

BBB publishes criticisms by other reviewers alleging persistent sales contact. Those are accounts from third parties—not a conclusion that the same people or company caused my particular contact flood.

My business-phone disruption

My own working phone received persistent financing calls and texts after my PMFUS inquiry. I could not broadly block unknown numbers without missing legitimate commercial callers. I found this extremely frustrating and disruptive.

The questions I would ask BBB

Can the BBB independently confirm that the tightly grouped positive reviews reflect actual transactions? Were reviewers directly solicited or offered any benefit? Can the complete chronology of review submissions be independently checked?

These are requests for verification, not allegations that a particular reviewer committed fraud.
